Build inside real operations.

Gatsby is a small number of fixed teams, each two or three builders, embedded inside industrial companies and shipping production systems against one agreed operating number. We hire slowly, in pairs, when a team opens. That is rare by design, and it is the reason the work is worth doing.

Why build here

The work is the offer.

Real plant floors

You work inside a client's walls, on their infrastructure, against their real constraints. The systems you build run on actual plant floors and fleets, not in a sandbox that gets thrown away after the demo.

No delivery layer

Teams are two or three builders, fixed for the whole engagement. There is no partner above you, no rotation of juniors below you, and nobody whose job is the relationship. You are in the Tuesday meeting and in the repos.

Production over decks

The artifact is running software. You will never be asked to produce a slide deck instead of a system, and if the work stops moving the client's number, the work changes rather than the story.

Your name on it

Every system ships with runbooks, a trained client team, and a handover. The client knows exactly who built what. The firm is small enough that nothing you ship disappears into a team of forty.

How we hire.

We hire builders in pairs when a team opens. Teams open a few times a year, and only when the last team's clients would vouch for them. There is no pipeline to keep warm and no recruiter to charm.

What convinces us is simple: show us something you shipped. A system that ran in production, the number it moved, and what broke on the way. We would rather see one honest postmortem than any amount of polish.

Open roles

What's open now.

No open roles right now.

Teams open a few times a year. If you want to be considered when the next one does, send an open application: what you shipped, what number it moved, and what broke on the way.
